About Jacaranda Golf Club - West (Plantation, FL)
As noted in the description for the East course, Bobby Weed was brought in to update the two courses at Jacaranda. The East was completed in 2005 and the West was ready for play in late 2006. Although the two layouts at Jacaranda are built over similar terrain, they play quite a bit differently from tee to green. The West is more exacting than the East and requires accurate play with both the driver and long irons. Fairways here are framed by tropical foliage and your approach shots will be to elevated greens protected by a variety of hazards. Play both courses at Jacaranda for a great 36-hole combination!

As with the East course, a lot of bunkers. Housing around the perimeter was older and less expensive than on the East course, but never impinged significantly on our play. The West course did not feel as lush and green as the East course, but the West course was well maintained and nice. Small pro shop but nice selection of women's clothing. Exit instructions from the course were subtle and easily missed.
