BONAVENTURE COUNTRY CLUB - EASTWESTON, FL Take it all the way back to the blue tees and you'll find out how tough a Joe Lee layout can be. Lee's legacy of golf course design in Florida is amazing and Bonaventure's East course stacks right up there with the best of them. Players including Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, and Jesper Parnevik have competed here in the prestigious Dixie Amateur Tournament. In addition, the famous #3 waterfall hole has been voted one of the top eighteen holes in South Florida. The East course underwent an extensive facelift in 2007, to include resurfacing all eighteen greens with Champion Bermuda, the installation of greenside bunker liners and 5 million pounds of USGA approved sand, cart path revitalization including the addition of new waste bunkers, laser-leveling of the tee boxes, and extensive landscaping. With all these improvements, the East course promises to be better than ever, so be sure to play it on your next trip to South Florida! |
